Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Goa on March 05, 2025, issued a notification regarding restriction on Liquor Transport and Possession during Goa Bye-Election.

The following has been stated: - 

•The Government has imposed a ban on transporting liquor within the areas of Ward No. II of Village Panchayat Sao Jose De Areal and Ward No. V of Village Panchayat Netorlim from March 08–10, 2025, due to the Bye-Elections. During this period, individuals can possess a maximum of three-quart bottles of Indian-made foreign liquor or foreign liquor (excluding beer), and six bottles of beer, or three-quart bottles of country liquor, without a permit.
