The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on March 06, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Declaration of Drug "Not of Standard Quality" on Testing.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It is hereby informed that the “ESIC MC, PGIMSR & MH, Rajajinagar, Bangalore” has been reported as "Not of Standard Quality"
• Stop use of the batch of the above mentioned item immediately which has been reported as "Not of Standard Quality"(copy enclosed).
• Replacement of supplies or cost of the materials is to be recovered along with testing charges (if any) from the firm.
• No order should be placed to the approved pharmaceutical firm for above mentioned drug, which have been found to be "Not of Standard Quality" on test analysis in the currency of Rate Contract 145C.
• Initiate action as per clause for 'Testing of Drugs-Quality Control" of Terms & Conditions of respective DG-ESIC RC
