The Government of Madhya Pradesh on March 06, 2025, issued amendments in the Madhya Pradesh Bhumi Vikas Rules, 2012.
The following has been stated namely –
• In rule 2, after sub-rule (7), the following rule shall be inserted, namely:- "Base Floor Area Ratio" means Floor Area Ratio, prescribed in the 7(a). Development plan or in these rules which is available to all plots owners without cost or charge."
• In rule 53, after sub-clause (b) of clause (iv) of sub-rule-3, the Following sub-clause shall be inserted namely: “(C) The development norms for Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging and service centre.”
• In rule 61, after No. (6) of Note of Table 8, the following note shall be inserted, namely: - " (7) In addition to the FAR as mentioned in above said table, additional FAR as Premium Floor Area Ratio may be provided over and above which shall not exceed 25% of the Base FAR. The rate of such Premium FAR shall be as may be decided by the State Government."
• In Appendix-J, Note-4 of table of clause J-2 (2), shall be substituted as follows: "4. The maximum built-up area of Dwelling Unit in the building shall not exceed 66 sq.mts."
