The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on March 07, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Imposition of Anti-Dumping Duty on Trichloro Isocyanuric Acid Imported from China PR and Japan.
The Central Government has imposed anti-dumping duty on imports of Trichloro Isocyanuric Acid under tariff items 2933 69 10 or 2933 69 90 from China PR and Japan. This decision follows the final findings of the designated authority on December 10, 2024, which concluded that the goods were exported at prices below the normal value, causing material injury to the domestic industry by undercutting local prices.
The anti-dumping duty varies by producer, ranging from USD 766/MT to USD 986/MT for Chinese producers, and USD 276/MT for Japanese producers. This duty will be effective for five years from the date of publication unless amended or revoked earlier. The applicable exchange rate will be as per notifications issued under Section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962.
