The Government of Kerala on March 05, 2025, issued notification proposal for the revision of Minimum Wages for Private Security Service Sector.
The revision of minimum wages for employees in the Private Security Service Sector under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948, replacing the 2017 notification. The revised wages, along with increments, are specified for categories from Managers to Sweepers/Cleaners. Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid at Rs.60 per point increase above 165 points of the Consumer Price Index. Annual increments apply upon reaching the maximum pay scale. Daily wages are calculated by dividing the monthly wage by 26. Higher existing wages will continue. Objections or suggestions can be submitted within two months of this notification.
