Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Maharashtra on March 07, 2025, notified the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2025 to further amend the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, 1888.

The following has been stated-

•Sub-section (4) of section 191ba of the Bombay Municipal Corporation Act, 1888 (a) after the words "diseased" shall be inserted the words "or is a stray or a stray".

(b) for the text "to kill immediately" shall be inserted with the text "to destroy by administering a large dose of an injection containing an immediate anaesthetic, i.e. to the point of death".
