Secretarial ComplianceThe Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on March 11,2025, issued a circular regarding Faster Rights Issue with a flexibility of allotment to specific investor(s).

The following has been stated: - 

•The SEBI has introduced a new framework for faster Rights Issues, specifying that the process must be completed within 23 working days from board approval. 

•The Rights Issue subscription period will be between 7 to 30 days. An automated system for bid validation will be developed within six months. 

•The new rules will come into effect on April 07, 2025, and apply to Rights Issues approved from that date.
