Labour ComplianceThe Labour Department, Govt. of Kerala on March 03, 2025, revised the minimum wages in Agricultural Operations and allied sectors such as dairy farms, nurseries and cashew plantation.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It has revised the minimum wages for the employees employed in Agriculture operations, Mechanized Agriculture works, Rubber Tapping Workers, Dairy Farmers, Nurseries, and Cashew Plantations.

• It states that the time-rated workers in dairy farms, nurseries, and cashew plantations are entitled to Dearness Allowance, with monthly workers receiving ₹60 and daily workers ₹2.30 for every point increase above 165 in the 2011-12=100 Consumer Price Index.

• It further states that if the daily rated workers are paid monthly salary, then the total amount of the daily rate of wages of each category along with Dearness Allowance multiplied by 26 shall be paid as monthly wages.
