The Government of Kerala on March 10, 2025, issued the notification regarding the High Wave - Swell Surge Alert.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Possibility of high waves has been warned in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts from 08.30 am on March 11 to 11.30 pm on March 12

• 1.0 to 1.3 meters in the Kanyakumari coast from 08.30 am on March 11 to 11.30 pm on March 12 due to the swell surge phenomenon

• Fishermen are advised to remain cautious.
