The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) on March 10, 2025, notified the issues of relieving faculty from the institutions after the resignation.
This issue was considered by the 421st Executive Committee of the PCI in its meeting held on 24th December 2024, which noted that the Council is continuously receiving multiple concerns from the faculty that the institutions are not relieving them even after the resignation submitted by the faculty to the institutions on the DIGI-PHARMed Portal.
In view of it, it was decided that-
• Faculty will be relieved automatically after the duration of 30/45 days from the portal based on the date of request of the faculty on portal for relieving.
• Institutions must relieve the faculty within 30/45 days of the request for relieving of individual faculty on DIGI-PHARMed Portal otherwise automatically name move away from institution portal.
