The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW) on March 11, 2025, notified regarding the Implementation of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the government has approved the continuation of PMFBY and RWBCIS till 2025-26 with a total outlay of ₹69,515.71 crore, with 23 States/UTs currently implementing the scheme.
• It outlines that a Stratified Grievance Redressal Mechanism has been established under PMFBY and launched the Krishi Rakshak Portal & Helpline (14447) for farmers to resolve insurance-related grievances.
• It states that the government regularly monitors insurance companies and revises PMFBY guidelines to enhance transparency, accountability, and timely claim settlements for farmers.
