The Government of Chhattisgarh on March 07, 2025, notified regarding the Proposed Amendment to Mandi Fee Exemption Rules, 2014 under Chhattisgarh Agriculture and Food Processing Industry Policy, 2012.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Rule 1 (1), shall be substituted with "(1) These rules may be called the "Exemption from Market Fee under Chhattisgarh Agriculture and Food Processing Industry Policy, 2019-24 Rules, 2019".
• After clause (d) of rule 2, the following clause (t) shall be inserted, "(t) other definitions shall be applicable as per Industrial Policy 2019-24."
• Any objections or suggestions regarding the draft amendment may be submitted by March 22, 2025, to the Office of the Agricultural Production Commissioner & Secretary, Department of Agriculture Development & Farmers Welfare, Biotechnology, Government of Chhattisgarh, Mahanadi Bhavan, Ministry, Naya Raipur Atal Nagar, District Raipur.
