The Ministry of Textiles (MoT) on March 11, 2025, issued the notification regarding the fixed maximum ex-factory price for the 580gm ‘Type-A & ‘Type-B’ Jute Bags.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The fixed maximum ex-factory price for the 580gm ‘Type-A & ‘Type-B’ Jute Bag are as follows: -
o Bag Type A – Rs. 108807.00 Price/MT
o Bag Type B – Rs. 108807.00 Price/MT
• Type A & Type B bags of the size 94cm x 57 cm/HD., 580 gm mass per bags, ends per dim, pecks per dm. shall be purchased or sold during the month of March, 2025.
• Every bag is to be printed/marked with emblem to specified in the PCSO issued by the O/o Jute Commissioner, Kolkata with the name of the manufacturing mill printed on it as well as BIS certification marking.
• The price fixed under this Notification shall be exclusive of GST which shall be paid in addition to the ex-factory price by the purchaser.
