The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on March 12, 2025, notified regarding the Validation of KYC Records with KRA.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It has provided DPs with a list of demat accounts linked to non-validated PANs (updated till Feb 28, 2025) in the DPs billing folder under the file name “BLNG<<DP ID>>_KRA_DEFICIENT_BO_04032025.tar” for follow-up.
• It states that the identified demat accounts will be frozen for both debit and credit with freeze reason code “27 – Account holder related–KYC non-compliant” on March 29, 2025, based on KRAs' updated data as of March 27, 2025.
