The Govt. of Haryana on March 13, 2025, issued Haryana Contractual Employees (Security of Service) Amendment Bill, 2025, to further amend the Haryana Contractual Employees (Security of Service) Act, 2024.
This shall come into force from January 31, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In section 3, explanation 2 to clause (ii), for the words “in a calendar year”, the words shall be substituted with: “during a period of one year contractual service”.
• It states that the Haryana Contractual Employees (Security of Service) Amendment Ordinance, 2025 is repealed, but actions taken under it are considered valid under the amended principal Act.
