The following has been stated: -
•In February 2025, India's Wholesale Price Index (WPI) showed a 2.38% year-on-year inflation, primarily driven by increases in food products, non-food articles, and textiles. Monthly changes revealed a slight 0.06% rise from January 2025, with primary articles, fuel & power, and manufactured products reflecting mixed trends.
•The WPI food index declined to 5.94% inflation, from 7.47% in January. Overall, inflation was subdued in key sectors like fuel, while manufacturing saw a steady price increase.
