The Government of Tamil Nadu on March 11, 2025, issued a notification regarding Aadhaar Requirement for Scheme Benefits.
The following has been stated: -
•The Government has mandated that individuals seeking benefits under the scheme must provide proof of Aadhaar possession or undergo Aadhaar authentication. Those without Aadhaar must enroll before applying.
•The department will facilitate Enrollment where necessary and adopt alternative authentication methods for beneficiaries facing biometric issues.
•The notification comes into effect from March 11, 2025.
