The Government of Madhya Pradesh on March 14, 2025, issued the Madhya Pradesh Integrated Township Policy, 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•The Madhya Pradesh Government aims to promote sustainable urban growth by developing "Integrated Townships," addressing the shortage of housing in both rural and urban areas.
•The state has introduced various policies to support housing development, but there is a need for revisiting regulations and formulating a new "Integrated Township Policy."
•This policy will encourage planned development, private investment, affordable housing, and public-private partnerships. Townships will be developed in areas with existing or easily accessible infrastructure, with minimum land requirements based on city population.
•Developers must meet financial eligibility criteria, including net worth and annual turnover.
