The Indian Clearing Corporation Limited (ICCL) on March 18, 2025, notified regarding the additional Exposure Margin on Securities under MWPL – March 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that BSE Notice dated March 18, 2019, on Additional Exposure Margin on Securities under MWPL, ICCL will impose an additional exposure margin of 15% on equity derivatives for securities where the top 10 clients account for over 20% of MWPL and securities with an applicable additional surveillance margin, the higher of the two margins will be charged, with monthly reviews based on 3-month rolling data
• It states that the Additional Exposure Margin for the securities mentioned in the Annexure shall be effective from April 01, 2025, immediately after the expiry of March 2025 contracts.
