The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW) on March 17, 2025, issued the Fertilizer (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed)(Control) Second Amendment Order, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In clause 20C, sub-clause (4) it shall be substituted, namely:- “(4) Notwithstanding anything contained in this order, any person manufacturing or importing a biostimulant as on the date of publication of this order for which no standards have been specified, may, subject to making an application for grant of provisional registration under sub-clause (5), continue to manufacture or import for sale, sell, offer for sale, stock or exhibit, such biostimulants for three months from the date of publication of this order”.
• In Form G-3, in the second paragraph occurring after item 5, for figures, letters, and words “22nd day of February 2025”, the figures, letters, and words shall be substituted with:- “16th day of June 2025”.
