The University Grants Commission (UGC) on March 18, 2025, notified regarding the Sanitary facilities in Higher Educational Institutions.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that they are urged to provide accessible sanitary pad vending machines and incinerators to promote menstrual hygiene, dignity, and safe disposal of sanitary products.
• Further, HEls are also requested to share the activities undertaken by them through Google Forms available at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdQ1sRIlCtLrYnOIf5O2T76EJQUXuDX457ubgw1gMB8cNYIYw/viewform latest by March 25, 2025.
