The Government of Uttar Pradesh on January 31, 2025, notified the Uttar Pradesh Excise Settlement of Licences for Retail Sale of Foreign Liquor (Excluding Beer) (Twenty-second Amendment) Rules, 2024 to further amend the Uttar Pradesh Excise Settlement of licences for Retail Sale of Foreign Liquor (Excluding Beer and Wine) Rules, 2001.
The following has been stated-
•They shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from April 01, 2024.
•Amendment of rule 8, which states Eligibility conditions for applicants.
•Amendment of rule 12, which states Payment of License fee and Security amount.
•Amendment of rule 13, which states the Lifting of liquor.
•Amendment of Forms F.L.-5D and F.L.-5D.
