The following has been stated namely: -
• SEBI has announced a partnership with DigiLocker to address the issue of unclaimed assets in the Indian securities market.
• This collaboration aims to streamline investor documentation by leveraging DigiLocker's digital infrastructure, enhancing accessibility, and managing securities-related information.
• By integrating DigiLocker, SEBI seeks to minimize unclaimed assets, promote transparency, and improve investor participation in the securities market.
