The National e-Governance Services Limited (NeSL) on March 18, 2025, issued a circular regarding the Technical and Functional Upgrade of Fingerprint L1 Registered Devices – Aadhaar Authentication Ecosystem.
The latest circular issued by UIDAI on March 06, 2025, informs NeSL IU & DDE registered users about the technical and functional upgrade of L1 fingerprint registered devices in the Aadhaar authentication ecosystem. The sunset date for L0 fingerprint registered devices is March 31, 2025. Users must complete the migration process before this date to ensure uninterrupted service. Starting from April 01, 2025, L0 registered devices will no longer be used for Aadhaar-based Digital Signature processes. Feedback and suggestions are welcome at [email protected].
