Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on March 19, 2025, issued a circular regarding the applicability of Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM).

The following has been stated: -

•NCDEX has re-triggered the Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% on Turmeric based on high-low variation, effective from March 19, 2025, until April 11, 2025. 

•This applies to both running and yet-to-be-launched Turmeric contracts. Other commodities such as Barley, Castor Seed, Coriander, Guar Gum, Guar Seed, and Jeera are not subject to E-ASM. 

•All other applicable margins remain unchanged.
