The Government of Uttar Pradesh on March 05, 2025, issued the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025 to further amend the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Section 4 which states “The Development Authority” the following has been amended namely: -
o For Clause (b) of sub-section (3), the following clause shall be substituted, namely: – “a Vice-Chairman to be appointed or authorised by the State Government.”
o Sub-section (4) shall be omitted
This shall come into force on March 05, 2025.
