Industry Specific ComplianceThe University Grants Commission (UGC) on March 18, 2025, issued a notice stating to verify Recognized Universities for degree validity.

The following has been stated namely: -

• UGC warns students, parents, and the public that only universities established under State, Central, or Provincial Acts or those empowered under the UGC Act, 1956, can award valid degrees. Degrees from unauthorized institutions will not be recognized for higher education or employment. 

• Students are advised to verify recognized universities on the UGC website (www.ugc.ac.in) before admission. Any violations can be reported to [email protected] for action.
