Commercial Compliance The Government of Chhattisgarh on March 18, 2025, issued the Indian Stamp (Chhattisgarh Amendment) Bill, 2025, to further amend the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, for its application to the State of Chhattisgarh.

It states that in Schedule 1 A, after Article 13, the following article shall be inserted:

"13 (A) Bank Guarantee – A guarantee instrument executed as security by a bank to ensure proper compliance with a contract or fulfillment of an obligation.

Subject to a maximum of twenty-five thousand rupees, 0.25 percent of the amount."
