The Education Department, Govt. of Gujarat on March 18, 2025, issued the Gujarat Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Procedure for Declaration of Centre of Excellence) Second Amendment Rules, 2025, to further amend the Gujarat Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Procedure for Declaration of Centre of Excellence) rules, 2020.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In rule 4, sub-rule (1), after clause (b), a new clause shall be inserted, namely:- “(c) To recommend the period for which the status of CoE shall be conferred to the University.”.
• In Appendix I, form C, for the words, brackets, and figure, “initially for (3 years) three academic years”, the words shall be substituted with:- “for the period of …………… academic years.”
