Industry Specific ComplianceThe Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on March 18, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Amendment in import policy condition of Urea in the ITC (HS) 2022, Schedule – I (Import Policy).

The following has been stated namely: -

• The STE status of Indian Potash Limited (IPL) has been extended from March 31, 2025 to March 31, 2026 for import of Urea on Government account.

• By amendment in Import Policy Condition under ITC(HS) Code 31021010 of Chapter 31 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule - I (Import Policy).
