Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on March 21, 2025, issued a circular regarding the Applicability of Event based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM).

It is stated that based on the High - Low variation, [(High-Low)/Low x 100], E-ASM of 2.5 percent has been re-triggered and will be applicable on all the running contracts and yet to be launched contracts in Turmeric till April 15, 2025.

The table captures the trigger date and applicability of E-ASM across the following commodities: Barley, Castor Seed, Coriander, Guar Gum, Guar Seed, Jeera (Including Jeera Mini) and Turmeric.

All other margins will continue to be levied as applicable.
