The Government of Maharashtra on March 20, 2025, issued a circular regarding extension of the deadline for the fitting of High Security Registration Number Plate (HSRP) on old vehicles.
It is stated that the deadline for fitting High Security Registration Number Plate (HSRP) on old vehicles is being extended upto June 30, 2025.
However, all Regional Transport Officers/Deputy Regional Transport Officers should raise public awareness about this in their area of work. Also, take a meeting of local vehicle distributors, autorickshaw / taxi / bus / truck association and inform everyone about this.
