The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on March 19, 2025, notified regarding the revision in pack size of approved item no. 1980 (Lenalidomide tab/cap 5mg) in DGESIC RC 156 from existing Pack of 10 to Strip of 7 of M/s BDR Pharmaceuticals International Pvt. Ltd.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that an amendment has been issued for M/s. BDR Pharmaceuticals International Pvt. Ltd. regarding Lenalidomide Tab/Cap (5mg) under DGESIC RC 156, changing the pack size from 1 x 10 (Pack of 10 Capsules) to 1 x 7 (Strip of 7 Capsules) while maintaining the price at Rs. 7.56 per capsule under the brand GIOLEN.
• It further states that the amendment was made at the firm's request, and the drug shall continue to comply with approved composition, strength, and regulatory standards.
