Finance & Taxation Compliance The Department of Transport, Govt. of Haryana on March 18, 2025, notified regarding the exemption from Penalties on Delayed Motor Vehicle Tax Payment in Haryana.

It has granted an exemption from penalties for the delayed payment of Motor Vehicle Tax for all transport vehicles that were previously exempted under specific notifications.

The exemption period covers different time frames from April 01, 2020, to June 30, 2021, depending on the category of vehicles. Any penalties paid during this period will be refunded to the vehicle owners.
