The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on March 12, 2025, notified regarding the extension in timelines for the implementation of the Order for product categories included in the schedule of CRO vide S.O. 1929(E) published in the Gazette of India on April 26, 2023.
It states that the implementation date for the "Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirements for Compulsory Registration) Order, 2021," regarding "Television Sets" (IS 18112: 2022), is extended from April 26, 2025, to October 26, 2025, following industry requests for more time.
