The Commercial Tax Department, Govt. of Chhattisgarh on March 21, 2025, amended the Chhattisgarh Value Added Tax Act, 2005.
This shall come into force from April 01, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In notification No. F 10-50/2021/CT/V (93), dated December 30, 2024, for "March 31, 2025", shall be substituted with:- "March 31, 2026".
• In notification No. F 10-50/2021/CT/V (93), dated December 30, 2024, for the expression "Partly, so as to reduce the rate of tax to 24 Percent + 2 Rupees Per litre", shall be substituted with:- "Partly, so as to reduce the rate of tax to 24 Percent + 1 Rupee Per litre”.
