EHS Compliance The Government of Tamil Nadu on March 19, 2025, notified the Chennai Metropolitan Drinking Water Supply and Waste Water (Amendment) Act, 2025to further amend the Chennai Metropolitan Drinking Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1978.

The following has been stated-

•In section 4 of the Chennai Metropolitan Drinking Water Supply and Waste Water Act, 1978, after clause (dd), amendment. The following clause should be inserted, namely:- For Section 4 “(ddd) Under-Secretary to Government, Finance Department, line of designation”
