Labour Compliance The Government of Maharashtra on March 21, 2025, notified the Child Labour (Prevention and Regulation) (Maharashtra Amendment) Bill, 2025 to further amend the Child Labour (Prevention and Regulation) Act, 1986.

The following has been stated-

•After section 17 thereof the following section shall be inserted :- 17A. District wise Vigilance Committees to detect child labour in the State by appropriate Govt shall constitute and appropriate rehabilitation of child labourers detected by Vigilance Committees.",
