Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, (CBIC), on March 24, 2025, issued an amendment to Customs Notification for Designated Ports in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh.

CBIC) has amended Notification No. 61/94-Customs (N.T.), issued on 21st November 1994, under the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment designates Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra) and Noida International Airport, Jewar (Uttar Pradesh) as approved locations for the unloading of imported goods and loading of export goods.

These changes facilitate international trade by expanding operational customs infrastructure in these regions, thereby improving logistics and trade efficiency.
