The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on March 25, 2025, issued an advisory to SEBI Registered Intermediaries- Uploading advertisements on Social Media Platforms (SMPs).
The following has been stated: -
•SEBI has directed that all registered intermediaries uploading advertisements on social media platforms (e.g., Google, Meta) must register using their email and mobile numbers from the SEBI SI Portal. Social media platforms will verify advertisers before allowing uploads.
•Intermediaries must update their contact details on the SEBI SI Portal by April 30, 2025, to comply.
