The National E-Governance Services Ltd. (NeSL) on March 25, 2025, issued a circular regarding NeSL IU Alerts for Credit Monitoring.
The following has been stated namely:-
• NeSL provides three types of alerts to creditors of a corporate debtor registered with the IU:
Default Alert: Notifies creditors when a default is reported against a corporate debtor, serving as an early warning.
CIRP Application Filing Alert: Informs creditors when an application for Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) is filed with NCLT.
Public Announcement Alert: Alerts creditors when an application is admitted for CIRP or during liquidation, voluntary liquidation, or pre-packaged insolvency, prompting them to submit claims within the specified timelines.
• It states that it has observed that some e-mail IDs provided by creditors in Form C have become inactive. It requests all creditors, especially Banks/FIs, to regularly review and update the e-mail IDs in the IU Portal to ensure that alert emails reach the relevant department handling Credit Monitoring/ Insolvency Resolution matters.
