Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on March 26, 2025, issued a circular regarding the applicability of Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM).

The following has been stated: -

•In line with previous circulars, an Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% has been re-triggered for Turmeric contracts, effective until April 22, 2025. 

•The margin applies based on High-Low variation and will be applicable on both ongoing and upcoming contracts. 

•E-ASM is not triggered for other listed commodities. All other applicable margins remain unchanged.
