The Odisha Real Estate Regulatory Authority (ORERA) on April 04, 2025, issued a notification regarding directions on uploading completion and occupancy certificates under the RE (R&D) Act, 2016.
The following has been stated: -
•Promoters must upload Completion and Occupancy Certificates on the RERA website upon project completion, as mandated by Section 11(4) (b) of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.
•This ensures transparency and access for allottees. A Chartered Accountant’s certificate in the prescribed format with the necessary documents must also be uploaded.
•Only upon such submission will promoters be exempt from filing Quarterly Progress Reports (QPR); non-compliance will be treated seriously.
