The Rubber Board, on June 05, 2025, notified regarding the rubber price is also available in the CRISP mobile app.
The following has been stated: -
• It states that the Rubber Research Institute of India, in collaboration with the Digital University of Kerala, has developed the CRISP (Comprehensive Rubber Information System Platform) mobile app.
• The app provides detailed information on rubber cultivation, integrating Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), WebGIS technology, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). It offers location-specific recommendations for rubber clones, fertilizers, and methods to control pests and diseases. Information is also provided on rubber tapping, processing techniques, and the availability of nurseries.
• The app includes data on Rubber Producers Societies (RPS), Group Processing Centres (GPC), and Rubber Board offices. It identifies areas prone to landslides and floods and suggests farming practices to adopt or avoid in such regions.
• The app has been updated to include domestic and international natural rubber prices, covering various grades like sheet rubber, latex, cup lump, and block rubber.
