EHS Compliance The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) on July 01, 2025, notified the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Amendment Rules, 2025 to further amend the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016.

It shall come into force on April 01, 2026.

The following has been stated-

•After Chapter VII, the following Chapter shall be inserted, namely: - ‘Chapter VIII Extended Producer Responsibility for Scrap of Non-Ferrous Metals’.
