In accordance with the Rubber Act, 1947, the Rubber Board of India mandates that no individual or entity shall acquire, possess, sell, or dispose of rubber without a valid licence. These licences are issued under Section 14 and governed by the Rubber Rules, 1955. The licensing system is structured into three key categories—Dealer Licence (Form B), Processor Licence (Form B1), and Manufacturer Licence (Form D)—each catering to different stakeholders in the rubber industry.
Dealer Licence (Form B)
Applicability
Issued to individuals or businesses engaged in buying, selling, or storing natural rubber.
Application Process
• Apply online via www.rbegp.in under Apply for Fresh Licence > Dealer Licence (Form B).
• Mandatory fields, including contact details, must be filled.
• After submission, print and sign the form as per business type (proprietor, partners, directors, etc.).
• Email the signed application and required documents in a single PDF to [email protected].
• Pay a licence fee of ₹3,540 (for 3 years) via online payment or NEFT.
Processor Licence (Form B1)
Applicability
Meant for rubber processing units that deal in transforming raw rubber into various forms.
Application Process
• Apply online at www.rbegp.in under Apply for Fresh Licence > Processor Licence (Form B1).
• Signed forms and supporting documents must be sent to [email protected].
• Licence Fee: ₹3,540 for 3 years.
Manufacturer Licence (Form D)
Applicability
For manufacturers using rubber to produce finished goods.
Application Process
• Apply online via www.rbegp.in under Apply for Fresh Licence > Manufacturer Licence (Form D).
• Specify rubber grades and quantities required (e.g., RSS, ISNR, Latex, etc.).
• Fee: ₹1,770 (up to 4 MT), ₹3,540 (above 4 MT) for 3 years.
