The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) on July 24, 2025, extended the Deadline for Submission of RCO Compliance for FY 2024-25.
It is stated that with regard to filling up of the details in the proforma, BEE had several rounds of stakeholders' consultations with each industrial sectors including DISCOMs and also meetings were held with the Empaneled energy auditing firms on submission and verification of details in the proforma.
In view of the genuine difficulties expressed by the industries in these meetings and considering the fact that this is the first year of RCO monitoring under the Energy Conservation Act, it has been decided to further extend the deadline of submission of RCО compliance data till September 30, 2025.
Accordingly, all DCs are now required to submit the final RCO compliance report (certified by the Plant Head and audited by a BEE-empanelled Accredited Energy Auditing Firm) on or before September 30, 2025.
