The Central Marks Department (CMD) on August 04, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Extension of the period of concurrent running of IS 15449 (Part 1): 2004 and IS 15449 (Part 1): 2024- “Household Zig-zag sewing Machines”
The following has been stated namely: -
• The circular regarding extension of the last date of implementation of IS 15449 (Part 1): 2024 is attached.
• All Branch Offices are requested to inform the same to the Licensees/Applicants under their jurisdiction and ensure the implementation of IS 15449 (Part 1): 2024 by February 12, 2026.
