The Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MPERC) on July 31, 2025, issued Draft Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Forecasting, Scheduling, Deviation Settlement Mechanism and related Matters of wind and Solar Generating Stations) Regulations, 2018 (Third Amendment) {AG-44(iii) of 2025} to amend the Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Forecasting, Scheduling, Deviation Settlement Mechanism and related matters of Wind and Solar Generating Stations), Regulations, 2018 {G-44 of 2018}.
The following has been stated: -
•The Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MPERC) has proposed amendments to its 2018 Regulations on Forecasting, Scheduling, and Deviation Settlement for Wind and Solar projects.
•The draft is available, and stakeholders may submit suggestions/objections by August 21, 2025, via post, email, or fax.
•Copies of the draft can be obtained from MPERC, Bhopal, on payment of the prescribed fees. A public hearing will be held on September 03, 2025, at 11:00 AM through video conferencing.
