The Tripura State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB) on April 28, 2025, issued the notification regarding the adoption of classification of sectors.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The revised methodology has been adopted for classification sectors and the list of 419 sectors/ subsectors classified under the Red, Orange, Green, White and Blue Categories
• The list for different categories is attached to the notification.
• The white category of industrial units has been expanded from 41 number to 130 number of industrial units. The White Categories of industrial units are exempted to obtain Consent to Establish and Consent to Operate Certificate for its life time subject to no change in technology, building plan, manpower etc.
